Robbins Children's Programs is seeking a qualified and experienced Behavior Support person with strong experience to support and guide staff, children, and families within our Preschool and After School programs. The ideal candidate will be Preschool certified, knowledgeable in child development and behavior support strategies, and skilled in coaching staff to implement positive, developmentally appropriate practices. The shift is Monday through Friday/40 hours a week guaranteed.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide behavior support for children ages preschool through school-age
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior support plans
Model and promote positive behavior guidance strategies in classroom and program settings
Coach, mentor, and support teaching staff through observation, feedback, and training
Collaborate with administrators, teachers, families, and outside service providers
Assist with staff professional development related to social-emotional learning and behavior management
Participate in team meetings
Qualifications:
Preferred Skills:
Experience working with children with diverse learning and behavioral needs
Training in social-emotional learning, trauma-informed care, or behavior intervention strategies
Ability to interact with others in a professional, empathetic, and consistent manner
